Active Tourism
Our area is perfect for doing sport, be it walking, cycling horse-riding or mountain biking; water sports such as surfing, paddle-surf, diving or fishing; and even air sports, like paragliding in the nearby Serra da Groba.
Here you can practise your favourite sport in a spectacular background and with endless views to the Atlantic Ocean.
The cycle path Vigo-Baiona-A Guarda is literally on Aguncheiro’s doorstep. This cycle route follows the coastline and is over 54 km long.
A few metres away from Aguncheiro is the starting point of the Ruta Máxica, a 20 km walk from the Parish of Mougás to Oia town, the county capital. The route passes the Pozas de Mougás -natural plunge pools- and the Iron and Bronze Age settlement A Cabeciña, with spectacular views of the coastline.
